Welcome
Throughout this course, I’ve embarked on a journey of self-expression, dig into various forms of writing that have expanded my creative horizons.
From crafting touching poems that breathe life into the essence of living creatures, to stepping into the shoes of family members, each assignment has been a canvas to explore a theme in writing I am not used to.
One of the highlights of my journey in this class has been the creation of my own monologue, a deeply personal piece that allowed me to channel my inner voice and emotions. Through the art of storytelling, I’ve honed my skills in crafting vivid descriptions allowing readers to immerse themselves in the worlds I create.
But perhaps the most rewarding feature has been the growth I’ve experienced in my writing. With each assignment, I’ve found myself becoming more adept at writing more details, especially from Profesor Jane’s feedback, weaving in intricate details that bring it to life in ways I hadn’t thought possible before.
Peer review has also played a crucial role in my development as a writer. Collaborating with classmates, sharing insights, and receiving constructive feedback have all helped with my writing As you explore the following pages, you’ll find examples of the works I’ve created during this course. So come, journey with me through the realms of imagination.
My ideal writing space will be my sister’s living room in her new house in Worcester MA. I’ll dit specifically right next to the snug nook surrounded by warm blankets and plush pillows and placed close to a large window that lets in a lot of natural light during the day would make the perfect spot for my reading, it’s the perfect corner away from everyone. Her shelves are filled with a variety of books that grace the room, although she doesn’t read any of them. My sisters cozy corner has the perfect little lounge chairs to wrap myself in a nice book. Reading in the evening in her home would be made more relaxing by ambient lighting, she has these beautiful string lights that glows softly. A cup of hot chocolate from the Dominican Republic the perfect mix for the night be placed on a little table close by, which would be ideal for sipping while interested in my favorite book.
I’ll be reading A court of thorns and Roses with my hot chocolate. Turn on a fire place so I can hear the spark. I’ll make sure no one is home since it can easily be a distraction. I enjoy reading more in the winter since I can be cozy with a small blanket.
